 Invacare TDX SR The TDX SR builds off of the proven TDX SP platform and offers the benefits of Gearless Brushless GB™ TrueTrack motors. TrueTrack allows the chair to maintain its true forward path keeping the chair tracking straight. This technology ultimately results in less fatigue for drivers of alternative driver controls. The TDX SR is available with a wide array of seating options including rehab seating, captain’s seating, and Formula™ CG powered seating including tilt, recline, elevate, tilt / recline, tilt / elevate, and tilt / recline / elevate combinations. The TDX SR also features MK6i™ Smart Actuators standard. Smart Actuators allow the client to achieve a pre-set tilt, recline, and power leg extension through the use of the power center mount front rigging. The TDX SR replaces the TDX 5. With a 300 lbs or 400 lbs weight capacity and a maximum speed of 7 mph, the TDX SR is positioned in the Group 4 Medicare codes. Leveraging this proven platform allows for commonality of parts and a reduction of inventory. The TDX SP platform utilizes 1/3 less parts and 1/2 less fasteners than the original TDX series. The new Formula CG powered seating interfaces with all bases: TDX SP platform, Storm Series rear wheel drive, and Pronto bases. Formula CG features a low starting seat-to-floor height of 17.5”; 300 lbs or 400 lbs weight capacities; 6 combinations of tilt, recline, and elevate; and MK6i Smart Actuators. Effective April 30, 2008, the TDX3, TDX3SE, TDX4, and TDX5 bases will be obsolete. Along with the base discontinuation, the powered seating systems that interface with these bases are discontinued include the Formula, Invisible Super Low Tilt, and PTO Plus seating systems.
