NEWSFLASH! Invacare G-Trac improves tracking of 2 or 4 Poles!
![]() Orders began being taken December 1st for the new G-Trac module on the TDX SP, TDX SI, TDX SC, TDX Spree, Storm Series, Ranger X™, Storm Series Torque™ SP, and Power Tiger. Due to installation limitations it is only installable on initial order and cannot be retrofitted to an already built chair at this time. The G-Trac module is an alternative to TTGB (GB) motors which are not necessary some cases where the only deviation is poor hand control and or the use of alternative driving controls (ADC's) such as a head array, sip and puff, digital switches, chin controls, or any ADC. The G-Trac uses a gyroscopic sensing system to sense the chair's course and issue course corrections to the chair in real time to minimize veer and minimize the number of human veer corrections are required from the user. The G-Trac improves overall tracking allowing low speed to track smoother. Driving over changing terrains will become more consistent and minimize adjustments needed from the user by using the sensor to sense changes between surfaces. At this time the module is only available in the United States and areas serviced by Invacare's US headquarters. I will get to "play" with one the same time I get to play with a IR unit. I will post review of G trac too.
